DESCRIPTION
Markel FPM Fluoropolymer Permeable Membrane Porous Fiber Solutions are a family of PTFE based products that can be used in a wide variety of filtration, gas/gas or gas/liquid separation, and degassing applications.
Markel FPM Porous Fiber Solutions can be supplied in hollow fiber and tube form, or solid fibers and rod form.
Porosities, flow rates and flux rates can be adjusted to meet the needs of Nanofiltration (NF), Ultrafiltration (UF) and Microfiltration (MF) applications in addition to many separation, contacting and degassing applications.
CHARACTERISTICS
Markel FPM Porous Solutions are manufactured by utilizing Markel’s leading edge PTFE expansion technology. This technology enables Markel to offer the broadest ranges of porous PTFE extruded profiles in the industry. Whether they are made as hollow or solid fibers, Markel FPM Porous Fiber Solutions are available in a wide range of diameters, pore sizes and distributions, and flux rates. For instance, pore sizes as small as 0.005 micron, porosities from 25 to 75% and diameters from 700 microns to 9.5 mm are possible with Markel FPM Porous Fiber Solutions making them well suited for filtration, separation, contacting, degassing and pressure venting applications.
