DESCRIPTION
Markel Spiral-Cut Cable Wrap tubing is an expandable plastic wrap for harnessing, insulating and the abrasion protection of wires, tubing lines, cables and bundles. Quick and easy to apply, this insulated cable wrap provides openings through which individual leads can be broken out at any point, yet creates a firm, homogeneous harness assembly which can be channeled, bent or flexed without any danger or cut through.
USES
Manufactured in four different materials – vinyl, nylon, polyethylene or PTFE – the ideal Spiral-Cut Cable Wrap can be selected to meet a wide variety of requirements over a full temperature range from -100°C to +250°C. The ability of Markel Spiral-Cut Cable Wrap to expand permits application around tubing and wire bundles up to four inches in diameter.
SPECIFICATIONS
Vinyl Cable Wrap (SCV) meets ASTM D922, Grade CFR and MIL-I-631D, Type F.
Nylon Cable Wrap (SCN) meets MIL-I-20693A, Type 1.
Polyethylene Cable Wrap (SCP) meets or exceeds the property requirements of Federal Specification L-P 390B and MIL-I-631D, Type A.
PTFE Cable Wrap (SCT) meets MIL-I-22129C, AMS 3651B and AMS 3653C.
Markel Spiral-Cut Cable Wrap SCV and SCT are recognized under the component of Underwriters’ Laboratories, Inc., File No. E60893.
Markel Spiral-Cut Cable Wraps are Non-Stock Items and are subject to factory quotation upon request.
